By using this website you accept these conditions, so please read them carefully. If you buy from our online shop as a consumer, nothing in these conditions affects your statutory rights.

Information you provide to us

Your privacy is important to us. When you send us personal information such as your name and email address through the forms on this website, we use it to deal with your request. How we use personal data is explained in our Privacy Policy.

We will only add you to our mailing list if you ask us to. Your personal information will never be sold. Every marketing email we send includes the option to unsubscribe.

Online orders

Our online shop delivers to addresses in the United Kingdom only. Outside the UK, OKO products are sold through our network of distributors – see Find a Distributor.

Prices are shown in pounds sterling and include VAT. Delivery charges are shown before you pay. After you place an order we will email you to confirm we have received it; the contract between us is formed when we confirm that your order has been dispatched. We may refuse or cancel an order, for example if a product is unavailable or if there is an obvious error in the price or description; if we do, we will tell you and refund any payment in full.

Cancellations and returns

If you are a consumer, you have the right to cancel your order within 14 days of the day you receive the goods, without giving a reason, under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013. To cancel, contact us at universal@oko.com with your order number. You must then return the goods, unused and in their original packaging, within 14 days of telling us you wish to cancel. Unless the goods are faulty or not as described, you will be responsible for the cost of returning them.

We will refund the price of the goods and the standard delivery charge within 14 days of receiving the goods back (or evidence that you have sent them), using the same payment method you used.

If goods are faulty or not as described, you have rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015. Please contact us and we will arrange a repair, replacement or refund as the law requires.

Product information

We try to make product descriptions and other content on this site as accurate as possible. If a product you buy from us is not as described, please contact us – see ‘Cancellations and returns’ above. Dosage recommendations from our calculator are guidance based on the tyre size you enter; always check that you have chosen the correct OKO formula for your vehicle, and ask us or your distributor if you are unsure.

Electronic communications

When you use this website or email us, you are communicating with us electronically, and you agree that we may reply and send you notices electronically. You agree that agreements, notices and other communications we provide electronically satisfy any legal requirement that they be in writing.

All content on this site, such as text, graphics, logos, icons, images, video, data compilations and software, is the property of OKO or its content suppliers and is protected by United Kingdom and international copyright laws.

Trademarks

OKO trademarks and trade dress may not be used in connection with any product or service that is not OKO’s, in any manner likely to cause confusion among customers, or in any manner that disparages or discredits OKO. All other trademarks that appear on this site are the property of their respective owners.

Licence and site access

We grant you a limited licence to access and make personal use of this site. You may not download (other than page caching), copy, modify or commercially exploit this site or any part of it, collect product listings, descriptions or prices, or use data-mining, robots or similar data-gathering tools, without our express written consent. You may not frame this site or use our name or trademarks in meta tags or other hidden text without our express written consent. You may link to our home page provided the link does not portray OKO, its associates or their products in a false, misleading, derogatory or otherwise offensive manner, and does not use any OKO logo without our permission.

Your account

If you create an account on this site, you are responsible for keeping your login details confidential and for activities that take place under your account. If you are under 18, you may use our website only with the involvement of a parent or guardian.

Our liability

This website is provided on an ‘as is’ and ‘as available’ basis. We do not guarantee that it will always be available or free from errors or viruses.

If we fail to comply with these conditions, we are responsible for loss or damage you suffer that is a foreseeable result of our breach or our negligence, but we are not responsible for loss or damage that is not foreseeable. If you are a business customer, we are not liable for loss of profit, loss of business, business interruption or loss of business opportunity, and our total liability in connection with an order is limited to the price paid for that order.

Nothing in these conditions excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for any other liability that cannot be excluded or limited under English law, and nothing affects your statutory rights as a consumer.

Applicable law and disputes

These conditions are governed by the law of England and Wales. Any dispute will be dealt with by the courts of England and Wales, except that if you are a consumer living in Scotland or Northern Ireland you may also bring proceedings in your local courts. If you have a complaint, please contact us first so that we can try to resolve it.

Changes to these conditions

We may update these conditions from time to time; the latest version is always on this page, with the date it was last updated. The conditions in force when you place an order apply to that order. If any of these conditions is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining conditions will still apply.
