CAN I PUMP MY TYRE UP WITH THE SEALANT ALREADY IN IT?

Yes - but if the tyre is fully inflated then you must deflate it by removing the valve core, then immediately apply OKO from the bottle tube or OKO injector, before screwing the valve core back in place. If you use the 25 Litre Drum, the Drum Application Pump delivers OKO against air pressure of up to 60 psi/ 4.1 bar. This avoids having to jack up the wheel and deflate the tyre.

IS OKO COMPATIBLE WITH TPMS VEHICLES?

OKO Off Road is not designed for cars. Where TPMS is fitted to off road vehicles, this sealant is not compatible with valve-based systems. If a wheel rim-based TPMS sensor is used, then OKO Off Road can normally be used.

DOES OKO WORK WITH MULTIPLE PUNCTURES?

Yes, it will seal multiple punctures within the tread area of the tyre.

HOW LONG CAN I DRIVE WITH A PUNCTURED TYRE?

Within the limits of the tyre's thickness and the size of the puncture, OKO seals a puncture permanently.

HOW LONG DOES IT LAST IN MY TYRE?

OKO seals the tread area of the tyre, preventing air loss through the porous rubber. Inside the mostly sealed environment, the product remains liquid during the (extended) tyre life.

IS OKO SAFE FOR ME AND MY ENVIRONMENT?

All OKO products are classified 'Non-Hazardous'. They can be carried by any means of transport. Do not drink the OKO liquid.

HOW FAST DOES IT WORK AFTER APPLYING?

As soon as the tyre revolves, OKO is forced by the centripetal force to cover the whiole tread, and will work whenever the vehicle is moving.

HOW DO I USE IT?

Always apply OKO to new or fresh tyres. Use a valve core remover (included in our bottle cap and our injector) - then OKO can be applied through the stem of the valve.

FOR WHICH TYRES CAN I USE OKO MINING?

OKO Original Mining can be used in any tubeless off road (OTR) tyre (tubes are weak and it is not possible to seal big punctures). It is most effective in tyres above 25 inches of wheel diameter. For the very largest, thickest tyres, of 50+ inches, where punctures are not common but tyre life is very short due to external damage, we recommend OKO LifeLong - it flows freely, cooling and conditioning tyres and protecting wheel rins from corrosion.

CAN I PUMP MY TYRE UP WITH THE SEALANT ALREADY IN IT?

Yes - the sealant forms a layer around the inner tyre tread. If any stray liquid has remained inside the valve, clear it with a stick so that the passage of air is not impeded. Always unscrew the valve core using a VCR (valve core remover) before applying OKO. Screw it back in after installation then reinflate the tyre to the recommended pressure. Note that mining and large construction vehicles often have large-bore valves and an adapter will be needed when using the drum pump.
