Since 1978
48 years of British engineering, one continuous thread: keep the wheels turning. From a Midlands workshop to more than 35 countries — still independent, still made here.
Our roots run deep
OKO began where most good engineering does — with a practical problem and no acceptable answer on the shelf. A punctured tyre, a job that could not wait, and the conviction that a tyre should be able to look after itself.
The first formula was rough by today's standards. It worked. Word spread the way it does among people who work with machinery: quietly, and on results. Farmers told hauliers, hauliers told fleet managers, and within a decade OKO was crossing borders.
From one workshop to over 35 countries
Every pin on this map is a distributor stocking OKO today. What began as one formula for one farmer's tractor is now stocked in more than 35 countries, in tyres from motorcycles to 60-tonne haulers.
It travelled on results rather than advertising - which is slower, and sticks.
48 years, one idea
One technology, many jobs
Motorcycles to 60-tonne dumpers, city couriers to open-cast mines. The range grew because customers kept arriving with a tyre we had not met yet - and we kept saying yes. That habit became a service, and OKO still builds custom formulas today.

We never set out to sell a bottle of liquid. We set out to stop people losing time to punctures.
OKO — the founding principle, unchanged since 1978
