OKO Original Off-Road is compatible with inner tubes as well as tubeless tyres, so tubed tractor, trailer, ATV and wheelbarrow tyres can be protected, although the largest puncture it can seal is lower in a tube than in a tubeless tyre. The road formulas (4x4 & Van, Truck & Bus and On-Road Motorcycle) are for tubeless tyres only.

Why a tube seals less than a tubeless tyre
OKO's own guidance gives the reasons for each formula, and they point the same way:
- For road vans and 4x4s, tube construction and operating conditions do not allow reliable long-term sealing.
- For trucks and buses, inner tubes are too weak under road loads to seal reliably.
- For mining tyres, tubes are weak and it is not possible to seal big punctures.
So a tube can still benefit from sealant at farm and plant speeds, but expect it to handle smaller punctures than the same formula in a tubeless tyre. OKO does not publish a separate maximum puncture size for tubes.
Tubed tyres on farms, yards and sites
Inner tubes are still common on older tractors, implements, trailers, ATVs and barrows. OKO Original Off-Road is built for these slow-moving machines, from wheelbarrows up to large equipment, and is suitable for limited on-road use up to 80 km/h (50 mph).

- Small tyres: the OKO 150ml Tyre Sealant Injector measures in 5ml steps, so you can dose a barrow or ATV tyre exactly.
- Fitting: apply through the valve. A valve core remover is included in the bottle cap and the injector. Fit to new or fresh tyres, then rotate the wheel or drive a short distance so the sealant spreads. On larger tubed tyres filled from a 25 litre drum, the drum pump injects against up to 60 psi (4.1 bar), which saves jacking up the wheel and deflating it.
- Rims: the formula is non-corrosive and rim-friendly, and stays liquid for the life of the tyre.
When to choose tubeless instead
For some vehicles, going tubeless is the only way to use an OKO sealant at all:
- Road vehicles: vans, 4x4s, motorhomes, trucks, buses and motorcycles. All three road formulas are tubeless only. If your motorcycle runs tubes, read tyre sealant for motorcycles before you buy.
- Large punctures: if your machines regularly pick up big punctures, a tubeless tyre lets the sealant work to its full rating, up to 12mm for Off-Road and 20mm for Mining.
